The Latino Corporate Network DC (LCNDC) Excellence Awards celebrate individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact in advancing Latino communities and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. We invite you to nominate outstanding leaders or organizations for one of the following awards.

ERG Trailblazer of the Year
This award honors a leader within an Employee Resource Group (ERG) who has driven impactful initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organization.
Nomination Questions:

  • How has the nominee demonstrated leadership in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within their ERG?

  • In what ways has the nominee promoted collaboration across groups or teams within the organization?

  • How has the nominee’s work empowered underrepresented groups or contributed to an inclusive workplace?

Corporate Champion for Latino Communities
This award recognizes a corporation or organization that has made exceptional contributions to supporting Latino communities through programs, partnerships, or initiatives.
Nomination Questions:

  • What specific initiatives or programs has the corporation or organization implemented to support Latino communities?

  • How does the organization demonstrate its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social responsibility?

  • Can you share a success story or measurable outcome of the organization's impact on Latino communities?

Latino Leader Visionary Award
This award celebrates an individual who has demonstrated visionary leadership in advancing the aspirations of the Latino community across sectors such as business, politics, education, social justice, or the arts.
Nomination Questions:

  • How has the nominee demonstrated visionary leadership in advancing Latino community interests?

  • What challenges has the nominee overcome, and how have they shown resilience in breaking barriers?

  • How has the nominee inspired others within the Latino community to pursue leadership roles or drive change?

 

Nomination Process

  • Review the Award Categories: Carefully read through the award descriptions and qualifications to determine the best fit for your nominee.

  • Answer the Nomination Questions: For your selected award, provide responses to at least two of the three questions listed. Your answers should give specific examples of how the nominee meets the criteria for the award.

  • Submit the Nomination: Complete the online nomination form by September 10 to October 15. Ensure that all required fields are filled out and that the details provided are accurate and compelling.

  • Await Notification: Once nominations close, the LCNDC Awards Committee will review all submissions. Award recipients will be notified via email and will be honored at the LCNDC Annual Awards Ceremony.

  • Nominations are open to both individuals and organizations.

  • Ensure that you do not disclose any personal or sensitive information about those the nominee has served.
