The Latino Corporate Network D.C. (LCNDC) is seeking dedicated professionals in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia metro area to join our Board of Directors. Help us advance our mission to equip, empower, and elevate Latino corporate professionals into exceptional leaders who drive change at work and in their communities.

Board Secretary
Description:
The Board Secretary provides administrative support to the President and the Board, maintaining organ
Responsibilities:
-
Manage all administrative tasks for the Board, including maintaining records, meeting agendas, and minutes. Sends meeting minutes within 3 business days.

Assist organizational records, scheduling meetings, and ensuring smooth communication and operations.
-
n scheduling meetings and coordinating Board activities.
-
Maintain effective communication between the President, Board members, and committees.
-
Manage organizational documentation and ensure compliance with governance requirements.

Tracks all event activities and impact for LCNDC annual report.
-
Leads creation of the annual impact statement and report. Submits to IncludUs Fund for their annual report.
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role.
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Strong communication and time-management abilities.
-
Experience supporting senior-level executives or boards is preferred.

Vice President of Operations
Description:
The VP of Operations oversees the day-to-day operations of LCNDC and manages the planning and execution of all events, ensuring they align with the organization’s goals and standards.
Responsibilities:
-
Manage operational processes and ensure the effective functioning of LCNDC.
-
Plan, organize, and execute events, workshops, and seminars, ensuring alignment with LCNDC’s mission. This includes (at minimum) the Spring /Summer Mixer and Annual Hispanic Heritage Month reception.

Oversee Events committee (if any) to coordinate logistics, resources, and partnerships for events.
-
Work closely with other Board members to integrate programming and initiatives into operations.

Oversee vendor relationships and manage event budgets in collaboration with the VP of Treasury.
-
Oversees annual Hispanic Heritage Month reception.
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or event planning.
-
Strong organizational and project management skills.
-
Experience working with vendors and partners to deliver successful events.
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Vice President of Events and Programming
Description:
The VP of Events & Programming designs and oversees educational programs and career development initiatives, helping Latino professionals grow within their industries.
Responsibilities:
-
Develop and implement programming that promotes leadership, skills development, and professional growth.
-
Collaborate with corporate ERGs/BRGs to identify development needs and create tailored programming.
-
Create annual theme and agenda for Annual Leadership Conference using board members feedback and SLC guidance.
-
Design 2 professional development workshops or seminars (LCNDC Master Classes) a year.
-
Create and manage awards program to highlight Latino leaders from ERGs and community.
-
Measure program success and continuously improve offerings based on member feedback and outcomes.
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in training, education, or professional development.
-
Strong understanding of corporate talent development and ERG/BRG best practices.
-
Experience in designing and implementing learning and development programs.
-
Proven ability to collaborate with corporate partners and diverse groups.

Vice President of Corporate Partnership
Description:
The VP of Corporate Partnership is responsible for building and managing relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, and other external stakeholders to support LCNDC’s mission.
Responsibilities:
-
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners and sponsors.
-
Develop annual sponsorship deck/package for LCNDC opportunities (obtain feedback from LCNDC board and SLC).
-
Secure sponsorships and funding for LCNDC events and initiatives.
-
Create partnership proposals and negotiate agreements.
-
Work with other Board members to align corporate partnerships with organizational goals and events.
-
Manage SLC membership and participation. This includes recruiting new ERGs and corporate partners while managing existing ones.
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate relations, business development, or sponsorship management.
-
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
-
Proven ability to build and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
-
Experience securing sponsorships and partnerships for nonprofit or corporate entities.

Professional Development Chair
Responsibilities:
-
Assist with the Events and Programming VP and membership to understand organization demographics and professional development needs.
-
Work with Events and Programming VP to identify speakers a quarter ahead

Event manager
Responsibilities:
-
work with each event lead to:

create a mini-project plan

clarify roles and responsibilities

document success metrics

create check lists are used as required

document lessons learned after each event

Fundraising Lead
Responsibilities:
-
Assist the VP of Corporate Partnerships to set target sponsorship revenue goals.
-
Work with Secretary to ensure sponsorship receivable are invoiced and collected to a set a "profit" target for each event and work to detail a Profit/Loss statement for each event.
-
Keep the President and board informed on a timely basis of all the items/issues surrounding "sponsorships."
- Manage local partnerships and plan all the corporate sponsored events and ensure everything is organized at each event.

Social Media Lead
Responsibilities:
-
Assist the VP of Marketing with leveraging all the social media content calendar to its full capacity on multiple platforms.

Promote events, job positing, and training opportunities as well as any ERG/BRG initiatives.

Newsletter Lead
Responsibilities:
-
Assist the VP of Marketing and Copyeditor with leveraging quarterly newsletter, events invites, and promotions.

Coordinate e-blast communications.
-
Experience in managing content in MailChimp.
-
Collaborate with Website Lead , and Social Media Lead to promote events, job positing, and training opportunities as well as any ERG/BRG initiatives.

Website Lead
Responsibilities:
-
Assist the VP of Marketing with leveraging all the website updates.
-
Oversee the website to make sure that it serves the purpose of the organization. Experience in managing content with Wix.

Copyeditor
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with VP of Marketing reviewing the professional copy language of newsletter, website, social media.

Write and edit materials for a variety of sources including website, social media, articles, and reports.

Membership Director
Description:
The Membership Director oversees the recruitment, retention, and engagement of LCNDC members, ensuring that the organization grows and maintains a strong, active membership base. This role supports program initiatives by fostering member involvement and identifying opportunities for growth and engagement.
Responsibilities:
Membership Growth and Retention:

Develop and execute strategies to recruit new members and retain existing ones, with a focus on growing diverse and active participation.
-
Maintain an updated database of members and potential members.
-
Create and implement an onboarding process for new members to ensure alignment with LCNDC’s mission and values.
Engagement and Communication:
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries and support.
-
Develop and distribute regular communications to members, including updates on events, programs, and engagement opportunities.
-
Collaborate with the VP of Marketing & Communications to ensure effective outreach through newsletters, social media, and other platforms.
Program Support:
-
Work closely with the Board to align membership activities with LCNDC’s programs and initiatives.
-
Facilitate member involvement in events, committees, and volunteer opportunities, ensuring meaningful participation.

Measure and track membership engagement, providing insights and recommendations to enhance programming and participation.
Reporting and Evaluation:
-
Report membership metrics and trends to the Board.
-
Identify challenges and opportunities related to membership growth and engagement.
-
Develop member surveys and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the membership experience.

General ERG/BRG Leaders Committee Member
Description:
The LCDC ERG/BRG Committee Chair serves as the liaison between member ERGs/BRGs and the Board, ensuring that their voices and needs are represented.
Responsibilities:
-
Facilitate communication between ERG/BRG representatives and the LCNDC Board.
-
Lead discussions with ERG/BRG leaders to identify collaboration opportunities and shared goals.
-
Coordinate joint initiatives and events that align with LCNDC’s mission.
-
Represent the interests of member ERGs/BRGs at Board meetings.
-
Leads 2 Roundtable ERG leader (and member) meetings per year focused on collaboration and best practice sharing.
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading or participating in an ERG/BRG.
-
Strong leadership and communication skills.
-
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse ERG/BRG teams.
-
Proven ability to facilitate discussions and represent the needs of different groups.

Dedicate at least 15 hours per month to internal and external activities

Leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills are a plus
